Not really sure why this is happening, or when it started exactly, but for some reason every Youtube video I watch has a blue tint to it. Nothing else on the screen does. Videos on other sites look perfectly fine, as do videos I have saved on my hard drive. It's just Youtube.

I thought it might have something to do with my receiver fucking up the image, so I turned it off and back on again, and it didn't seem to make a difference.

I've also noticed that it seems if I view Youtube videos that are embedded on another page, they look perfectly fine. I have NO idea what the hell's going on anymore.

Try Firefox. If it is still doing it, try starting Firefox in safe mode (no addons etc).

This is just to narrow it down more.

I've actually been hearing about this at work lately. It's called The Smurfs virus. Apparently, an easy fix is to type in Gargamel into your CMD.

Should've also clarified that this was happening in Ubuntu. I don't think it makes a big difference, but that's also part of it. Haven't tried installing Firefox on it just yet, but that's fucked up that I should even have to do that. Oh well...

Well, Firefox didn't work either. Still blue.

Seems to be a Linux error.

Does this help?

Sample quote: "Okay.. So i "solved it" in another way.. I just removed flashplugin-beta from AUR, and installed flashplugin 11.1 (beta is 11.2) and now it works just fine.."

I don't understand how to do any of the fixes those people are talking about. I'm too much of a noob at Ubuntu.

That quote Garlic gave you was from ArchLinux. AUR is a thing they use for beta software. It sounds like your Flash is fucked up somehow but I don't understand why it is just Youtube. See if there is a way to install a different version of Flash or something. Maybe there is a beta one you can install?
