I know Naruto and Sasuke fans have both had it pretty tough recently (Naruto's hyperventilating, Sasuke's silly haet and so on), but it must be so much worse for the people who like Sakura.

Is she actually telling the truth here, or is she lying and planning on backstabbing Sasuke? I'm not even sure which would be worse... the former is obviously pretty bad, but Sakura lying again, and then doing something as stupid as trying to kill Sasuke on her own (ok, at least she isn't trying to fight him head on, but it'll still fail badly) is hardly any better for the character. I sort of hope she's being honest - at least then there'll be something slightly interesting about her, ridiculous though it may be.


The Karin stuff sounds kind of random, but slightly sweet anyway. I do feel sorry for her. Why was Sasuke going to kill her? :/

Why does Kishi feel the need to retcon Karin. And why has no one ever mentioned her. I mean, she's a missing nin too, and seemingly a valuable one. Extremely talented sensor type plus a weird healing ability. Stupid.

As for Sakura, if I were Sasuke I'd just cast genjutsu on her and force her to tell the truth. It's not like it would be out of character for him. I mean, why even take the risk she's a Konoha mole sent to kill him. Hell, why would he even want her around!? Kishi is being random...

Since it was an nja spoiler (he usually makes mistakes), I'm still hoping she isn't actually a Konoha ninja, and was entering the Chuunin exam from some other village.

She has to be planning on poisoning Sasuke. She can't really sink so low as to be his comrade after all that's happened.

I have to admit I was sort of silently rooting for her character way back in the day. She's a part of the next generation of Sannin I thought. She'd turn out to be a witty, powerful female lead I thought. She'd grow out of this schoolgirl obsession I thought. But now we're nearing what I would guess is the ending or the latter half of the series and she hasn't moved an inch in any of these things.

The only character that is arguably weaker than her died in this issue so I guess it isn't all bad

Karin is more likable than Sakura, though. At least she's mildly amusing sometimes (mostly when Suigetsu's there).

It's all for the purpose of psyching Naruto to become even more ultimate. Sakura knows that Naruto is not yet prepared to kill Sasuke, and that she has burdened Naruto into this whole thing (he said to her most recently that it's not so much for her ANYMORE, but it must have grown out of that in part).

When Naruto sees that Sakura and Sasuke are in need of saving and that Mad[G]a[a]ra is going to ruin the village/ninja world...well, an epic battle is on the horizon to say the least.

In the end, Naruto will save Sakura, who tried to save Sasuke, who tried to prove himself by himself and failed...





Oh, btw, Naruto is the great, great, great, grandson of the Sage of Six paths...if you read all the databooks completely, from cover to cover, and all the naruto chapters, forwards and backwards, the truth of what I just wrote will be revealed in a holographic image with intelligence recognition software - recognizing if you've done the aforementioned. That holographic image will proceed to tell you the location of the secret message (located in a certain released chapter to be published in the future) and the necessary scanlations for decrypting the message.

Maybe Kishi doesn't even want to write Naruto anymore, and rather than ending the story normally, he would rather make us all like Sasuke toward him (him being Narutoverse) - holding everything in contempt. Instead of giving readers an ending to debate as great or horrible or somewhere in between, he would rather just keep us perpetually in a state of love-hate-addiction toward the manga...get the readers to quit rather than end it (kind of like Naruto toward his enemies...wear them out).

I cried tears of laughter reading these spoilers.
I can't wait for the actual chapter to come out, so I can see the true scale of the trainwreck that it seems.

Still doesn't beat "who said the Espada are numbered 1 to 10?", but yeah, definitely a troll chapter.

Looking at the script and new spoiler pics, it certainly seems like Sakura is plotting against Sasuke to me. Oh well. I doubt it will amount to much; Kakashi will probably save her.

So, like, why was Sasuke going to kill Karin anyway? She knows too much about what plans? Madara and Sasuke don't have any shared plan, so does he mean Madara's plan - which he already announced to the five Kages (and why would Sasuke care about Madara's plan being leaked anyway?) - or Sasuke's top secret plan of, er, destroying Konoha? He's probably just going to go in there all guns blazing anyway, so it wouldn't make that much difference if they were expecting it (would prior knowledge of Pain's invasion have changed the result? I don't see how it would).

More masterful writing there.


The page with new and old Sasuke made me kinda sad though.

The only reason I still follow this manga is because i've already invested so much time in it...but with each passing chapter I find myself less and less inclined to keep reading. I wonder how long it'll be before I just don't care anymore. My only hope right now is that Sasuke uses Sakura to heal Karin, and then kills her. I know that'll never happen, but a man can dream.

When the fuck did he have time to rescue some chick in the Chuunin exam? Good one, Kishimoto.

Also, what the hell happened with Sakura managing to bork Sai, Lee and Kiba at the same time? It looked like Kiba and Lee thought Sai was the one they should be attacking or something, and Sakura took advantage of that.. but still, Sai is in fucking ROOT for gods sake, he's got to be above Sakura's level in that kind of thing.

The actual chapter made me laugh less than the spoilers did, I'm afraid.

They were in there for five days. Sasuke was shown going off alone on one occasion (when Naruto nearly opened the scroll), and there was enough time for others, I'd imagine. It's still obviously something Kishimoto thought up the night before he wrote it, so it's a bit hard to accept it as canon, but he was at least careful or lucky enough not to directly contradict any earlier stuff.

I'm not entirely sure how we're supposed to take it though: is Karin actually from Kusagakure, and only joined Orochimaru after the exam (because she wanted to see Sasuke again x_x), or was she already with him by then? Oro was disguised as a Kusa-nin, after all, and the databook did say she joined Oro after her village was destroyed or something.

If we ever have another one of the "What power from the Naruto world would you like to have most?" topic, we'll need to remember to add the Uchiha sex-appeal to the list.

According to Madara, Sasuke has already become pretty useless. Is it the end of his reckless actions?

Kiba and Lee are truly stupid. I guess they're in character.

I'm surprised ninjas can actually get done in by sleeping gas which looks like smoke (lol, why is it even visible?). I'd assume they can hold their breath a little while to get out of range once they're surrounded. Sai even noticed the bombs dropping and he couldn't react? Convenient.

I don't think Sasuke is in any state to be dealing with Kakashi and Naruto who are on a collision course with him so I don't see Kakashi saving her.

I guess I'm curious to know what'll happen now. There are a lot of possibilities in that trio. I'm not even sure Sakura really is planning anything against Sasuke. Her actions could be quite fickle. Karin might live. I doubt Sasuke will trust her, but he's so weak right now he'll probably agree to take her. I guess Sakura could be intending to gather information or drug Sasuke. But with her healing she can contribute a lot to his power, considering how easily Sasuke gets hurt.

I'd be great if Sasuke would have Sakura heal Karin and then kill her. Although that probably won't happen.

I saw MT's post, then left. I came back later and saw Eizan's post and thought, how is that new...didn't I just read that? I thought maybe it was a repost from MH forums or something. Wow.

I wonder if, as Madara seems to have inferred, Sasuke has very poor eyesight at the moment. I wonder if he can even see Sakura or just recognizes her voice at such a distance.

Additionally, Madara probably has Obito's other eye if it isn't destroyed from being crushed.....like Danzou's was....I'm waiting for Kishi to totally contradict himself.

Well Sakura's line at the end does open the path for possible amusement. Honestly, I think it would be awesome if Sakura killed Sasuke of all things.

But if she joins him (perhaps to try to change his heart, perhaps just to be with him) - unlikely as that seems, that would also be interesting. I'd love to see Naruto against both Sasuke and Sakura.

I think it would be more amusing if Sasuke killed Sakura so we didn't have to read about her bullshit anymore.
