Is this feasible web? I'm not sure how many of us have these items other than myself, but I'm quite sure I would post more and from more exotic locations such as work, etc. if this were possible...

For example iLounge has their whole site coded to redirect you to the iPhone ui... even the message boards are optimized. I'm not sure if we could disable sigs for just that part of the site, but it'd be fun... right?
WorksforIphone has some resources available, even though they charge to just do it themselves.

Use the light version of the boards. I imagine that should look fine on it. Have you tried the light version? Do you even know how to get there? Lol.

At the bottom of...everything (in the middle of the area where the skin selector is), you should see a "Lo-Fi Version" link. This will take you to the text only version of the Center. I can't think of a better way to look at the Center from a portable device.

As for overhauling and making a specific i-secion for the forums...that would take far more time and effort than it's worth and as I said, the Lo-Fi version should probably work anyway. Try it out and tell me how it turns out. I'm curious if this solves the problem you have with browsing here from weird places.

I bet I could find a lo-fi skin to use. That would be helpful, I imagine. I'll let you know how that goes.

Edit: Installed a PDA skin. Should work nicely for ya. Click the "Full" link at the bottom of the page to switch back to a normal skin.

Still no way post from what I can see on my iPod. I clicked on the lo-fi link and that would work in a pinch... But I'd have to post in full mode apparently.

Edit: n/m I didn't realize that you put a whole new skin in... Seems to work for me! Is there a way to get rid of the copyright info that is in every divider on the portal page?
