Hello there, welcome to the Mario Mafia sign-up topic!

Just a few things to say about the game and the registration:

- The ideal number of players we're hoping for is 16. We don't really want to go over that, because overly long games have been a bit of a problem recently. 14 is about the minimum we could play with, so if we get to there and no-one else looks to be signing up then that's ok, but yeah... 16 is best.

- I'm sure most people here know more than enough about Mario to play the game, specialist knowledge will be of little advantage (it's not exactly the most complex series >_>), so don't worry about that.

- The game will start within a week or so. It could be sooner if we reach 16 quickly, but it won't be later. If anyone can't play before a certain day or whatever, just say so and we'll try to allow for it.

My only suggestion is that the title be changed to "Super Mafia Brothers". 'Kay, it's not really accurate since Mario and Luigi aren't Mafia (OMGSPOILER!1), but it sounds good. >_>; XP

Well, I guess see how it goes over the next few days, since a few regulars like garlic haven't been on the forum for a couple of days. It's a pity Xylus is taking a break from the boards too.

But yup, it isn't going to be easy running mafia games when the boards are this dead. I guess the games need to be even smaller than this.

so what are we at now, like ten...I want to find enough people to play but I'm kinda worried that if we try to make people play or they just see that no one is playing so sign up because of that then we wont have very committed people.

btw where is Ma? I guess other good candidates would be KN and Garlic is people can track them down.

@Jane: the problem with waiting until after the holidays is thats two whole months of mafia...might be hard to get people motivated again after that period of time, who knows maybe it will be easier. But yeah if we can get this game going it should probably be our last until the new year
